The King is Back. Haha

Due to popular demand, I am now updating my blog. Haha. I didn't know there were people who were so sweet following my blog ;)

1. New year's in London is freaking cold! But it was awesome. Singing Mr. Brightside out loud and making a fool of ourselves while waiting for the countdown, awesome-ass fireworks (boleh la), the guy next to us proposing to his girl who we thought was his daughter, high-fiving drunk people, tahan kencing sambil ulang2 lawak bangang (layan), encounter with crazy guy on the bus preaching about planets and space debris, XL Buffalo Wings at Tinseltown, talking crap with the guys until the next morning - not bad for first new year's experience in London. Next time, buat house party sudahhh

2. We made a documentary about me going on a quest to look for people who would like to join my airband. I was the director for the documentary (yes, I made a documentary about myself). Thankfully everyone liked it.

3. Now we're making a documentary about the oppression faced by people with Ginger hair. I am the producer for this one. This is the first time I've ever done any producing job, and I don't have a clue how to do it properly. Which makes this an exciting experience.

4. I am now on a 50 pound per week budget. Hopefully the savings I make will be enough for our easter trip across Europe.

5. We are planning a trip across Europe for easter (Bronimuni Paradise 2). The plan is to go to Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels, Barcelona and back to London in 10 days. Tidur dalam train/train station/masjid, jalan2, lepas tu gerak country lain. It's called rocking Europe bro-style.

6. I am now stepping up my efforts towards getting a scholarship or loan. Wish me luck on that.

That's all for now.

Sekian, terima kasih.

Things I will do during the holidays

Holidays will start soon, and will end even sooner (18th December - 11th January). Within that period, I will:

1. Watch A LOT of movies, sampai sawan.
2. Read the book on Scriptwriting that I have on my shelf. Recently I have gained a huge interest in writing scripts, so it is best that I build up on it :D
3. Do the two essays that I'm supposed to write. Ugh
4. Do experiments with my newfound cooking skills. Haha. Hopefully without blowing up the kitchen.
5. NOT cut my hair. (New plan: In addition to not cutting my hair until June 2010, I will also not shave any facial hair, in order to grow a Johnny Depp. Haha)
6. Chill plus relax (chillax) with the gang.
7. Write a script just for fun, maybe.
8. Make a short film just for fun, probably.
9. Learn new songs without being able to play them anyway.
10. Run across the UK naked for charity.

Feel free to suggest anything else to do. I do not want to die a bored man.

Hello

Eh I have a blog la. Haha.

Life is good. My course is good. In the words of Ray Toro, it is all "f**king stellar" lol

Learned some new words while over here:

1. Tramp = homeless guy/poor guy
2. Wow, that's so sick! = Wow, that's so awesome!
3. Oh, bunhole = Oh, shit
4. Cheers
5. Bollocks

and many more.

Done loads of stuff in uni considering it's just been one month:

1. Did one film where I made the red colours show and everything else is black and white.
2. Photography exercise about a day in the park. I was the director. We shot at Hyde's Park, Green Park, and St. James' Park
3. Currently doing a montage. I am the sound editor. I am looking forward to doing sound. It is something I have never tried before, so it would be exciting.
4. I am also writing a 3-minute film entitled "Natalie and 21 Sleepless Nights". It's a very depressing story, for me, and it made me stay up until 3 am last night. But it was fulfilling though.

In short, I am loving it here! :D

I haven't played the drums since the last day of college. It is killing me. I tried asking if I could use the music studio in uni, but they wouldn't allow it cos you have to be a music student, or a friend of a music student. What a bunch of "bollocks" :P

I've been watching a couple of movies recently. Classical movies are boring, but at the end of it, you kinda feel some sort of satisfaction. It's like weirdly fulfilling. I suggest watching Providence, Sunrise and A Matter of Life and Death. Other suggested movies:

1. Requiem for a Dream
2. Being John Malkovich
3. A Clockwork Orange
4. Memento
5. City of God

And of course, not forgetting, my top three favourite movies:
1. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
2. The Diving Bell and the Butterfly
3. The Dark Knight

I haven't been to the cinema since I got here. The tickets are pricey. I've got a 2-for-1 deal, but I'm saving that for people who matter

That's all for today.

Sekian, terima kasih. Hehe

The Architecture of the Mind

Here's what's going on in my mind right now:

"Holy shit I'm finally going to Westminster!"
"This is so exciting!"
"This is gonna cost a lot!"
"If I don't do well for the first year, I won't find money for the second year"
"Holy shit this is scary"
"What if I don't make it?"
"What will my mum and dad and all those who are paying think of me?"
"What the hell, of course I can do it"
"Yeah man, ko kena konfiden doh"
"Yeah man, they didn't accept you for nothing"
"You've got it in you to do it"

And it goes on and on and on.

I'm gonna do well for my first year, and I'm gonna get that long awaited scholarship.

Speaking of the architecture of the mind, here's an upcoming movie revolving the architecture of the mind.

Tak reti post video from YouTube la. Haha

When shit happens, you flush it down the toilet.

Thank you God!

So Westminster has given me a place in their Film and TV Production course, despite me not achieving the grades they asked for. Im very grateful for that, and now I am gonna go for that course, God willing, and kick some ass.

But the only problem now is to look for money. So I have devised a plan to get enough money at least for one year, before I apply for a scholarship or a loan.

This is the plan, bear in mind I have around one more month to go:

1. Enter a short film competition, and make sure I win and get at least RM500.
2. Work for a month and get around RM800-RM1000
3. Keluarkan all the money from my bank account, the amount which I will not tell. hehe
4. Jual nasi lemak in the morning and goreng pisang in the evening. I heard you can get RM3,000 per month from that.
5. Make a porn movie. Haha. And that's RM100,000 :P
6. Become a professional EPL player, and get 10,000 pounds (RM55,000) per week, which will amount to RM220,000.
7. Join a bank robbery heist and get at least RM50,000 if I got dem balls.
8. Help the police solve that bank robbery, and get around I dunno RM200.
9. Become an extra in a film or TV series, and get at least RM50.
10. Organise a marathon, only to cancel it in the last minute after collecting RM500,000 from donations.

Total up everything, and it will add up to around RM880,000. With this kind of money, I can finish my degree, continue with my masters, and I can even get married if I wanted to, or get a really cool car.

If only life was that easy.

Post Mortem

When I finished my exams around mid june dulu, I created a list of what to do during my free time after finally finishing my exams, so that it would be spent wisely and so that my free time would be productive. This was my list:
  • Movie marathon every day (check. almost every day la)
  • Redang (definitely check!)
  • Settle applications for Australian universities (nope)
  • Check out short film festivals/competitions (technically i did. check)
  • Learn new songs (nope)
  • Read books for university (haha)
  • Tidurrrrr (hehehe)
So in the end I managed to do 4 out of 7. Not bad. Who says my life is useless eh? :P

I dont know what the point of this post is. Just wanted to show off i guess hehehe

Hello mates,

I just got my internet back after a nearly two-month fuck-up
